Delicia is a state of Arasia located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Arasia, by the Strait of Incan. It comprises two parts - Delicia Island, where the capital city, Presston, is located; and Orens on the Arasian Mainland.
Highly urbanised and industrialised, Delicia is one of the most developed and economically important states in the country, and is a thriving tourist destination. Presston, which was founded by the British in 1786, is a World Heritage Site. Delicia has the third-highest Human Development Index in Arasia, after the state of Aternhorn and Aulump City. Its heterogeneous population is highly diverse in ethnicity, culture, language and religion. A resident of Delicia is colloquially known as a Delician (in English), or a Delicia Lang (in Delicia Hokkien).
Etymology[]
The name of "Delicia" comes from the fact that the people create interesting food delicacies and the sort that are delicious. Hence eventually coming up with the name of "Delicia".

Delicia is geographically devided into two sections:
- Delicia Island: an island of 293 km² located in the Straits of Incan.
- Orens: a narrow hinterland of 653 km² (252 sq mi) on the peninsula across a narrow channel whose smallest width is 4 km (2.5 mi).
The body of water between Delicia Island and Orens consists of the North Channel to the north of Presston and the South Channel to the south of it. Delicia Island is irregularly shaped, with a granitic, hilly and mostly forested interior. The coastal plains are narrow, the most extensive of which is in the northeast.
